Speaking at the seminar, Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City Truong Thi Hong Hanh said that in order to prepare tourism service establishments and tourism workers with full information and practical experience in exploiting, welcoming and serving the tourist market of the Middle East and CIS countries, the Department of Tourism has developed a Plan to implement tasks to develop the international tourist market via flights operated by airlines. Specifically, Emirates Airlines will operate (Dubai - Bangkok - Da Nang route with a frequency of 4 flights/week expected to operate with Boeing 777 aircraft from June 2, 2025, main source of passengers from UAE, the Middle East and connecting passengers from Europe and the US) and charter flights from CIS countries (Astana & Almaty, Kazakhstan - Da Nang route with a frequency of 1-2 flights/week expected to operate with Airbus A330 aircraft from April 2, 2025 to the end of October 2025, main source of passengers from CIS countries).
The plan includes many activities such as Seminars on sharing information on serving the tourist market, designing and publishing handbooks on sharing market information, providing service instructions and proposing the implementation of new tourism products to serve Halal tourists, improving the quality of human resources, promoting and promoting Da Nang tourism through 2 flight routes...

The Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City emphasized that the seminar is an opportunity for us to learn and update information, knowledge and experience in serving and developing the Middle East and CIS tourist market - one of the potential markets of our country's tourism industry. However, in order to exploit and develop this market effectively, businesses need to have specific strategic directions, at the same time improve service quality, in accordance with the needs and specific characteristics of Middle East and CIS tourists. In particular, it is necessary to focus on improving tourism infrastructure, enhancing service capacity, and at the same time increasing connectivity, communication cooperation and promotion between localities and international partners in the tourism sector.

At the seminar, experts shared information on Muslim-friendly tourism and Halal certification guidelines (Regulations of Muslim countries on Halal certification, Certification programs, Halal standards and Halal certification procedures for restaurants and hotels); market demand of Middle Eastern countries (especially the Arab market), customer culture, service requirements and experiences, things to note, and solutions to effectively serve and exploit this source of customers.
Along with that, orientation for developing Halal human resources in hotels and restaurants. Orientation for building programs/products/service packages and communication plans for businesses. Market demand of CIS customers, customer culture, service requirements and experience, contents to note, and solutions to serve and exploit this customer source effectively.
Leaders of the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center also presented on communication activities and promotion of tourist markets in 2025 of the Da Nang City Department of Tourism.../.
