The MiG-21 aircraft with serial number 5121 and its air defense systems contributed to the victory of "Dien Bien Phu in the air" of our army and people in December 1972. This is also one of the four national treasures on display at the Vietnam Military History Museum.

The Vietnam Military History Museum was built by the Ministry of National Defense in 2019 on an area of ​​386,600m2, with a total investment of about 2,500 billion VND. The museum preserves more than 150,000 artifacts, including 4 national treasures and many military equipment.
The museum is open to the public free of charge until December 2024.
