The Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Summer Photo Video Contest with the theme: "Brilliant ancient capital" is a meaningful activity in the Heritage Education program in 2024.
Mr. Trinh Huu Anh (Deputy Director of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center ) said: " The contest will help students actively explore and learn about the Heritage through interactive and experiential activities. Thereby, it will promote and educate the traditions and history of the nation, foster local historical knowledge, promote the positivity, dynamism and creativity of school youth through interesting learning and experiential activities, contributing to perfecting the necessary skills in life."
The contest not only created an opportunity for students to explore the beauty of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage, but also spread the love for heritage through creative photo videos. The entries were posted on social networks, attracting millions of views, likes and shares, contributing to promoting the image of the heritage to the public at home and abroad.
The contest is organized to contribute to promoting the activities "Returning to the roots" and the model "Schools associated with Cultural Heritage".
After 3 months of launching the contest, the Center has received entries from students of all grades of Tay Do Secondary School . It can be said that the video and photo entries introducing the heritage site of the Ho Dynasty Citadel have attracted a lot of attention, support and enthusiastic participation from the school's students with many creative ideas to enliven the theme "Brilliant Ancient Capital" in the summer at the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Site. In particular, the entries from students of all grades have been posted on the Page: Ho Dynasty Citadel World Heritage and widely promoted on social networking platforms, attracting millions of views, likes and shares.
On November 23, 2024, the Center will summarize media interactions and award prizes. Based on the scoring criteria set by the Organizing Committee, the Jury will select quality, excellent, and carefully invested entries to award prizes. The contest summary and award ceremony is expected to be held on December 23 at the ancient Tet pole-raising ceremony at the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Heritage Site . The winning entries this time will be used by the Organizing Committee in communication activities and publications promoting the Heritage to domestic and international audiences.
In recent times, heritage education activities in Ho Dynasty Citadel have been widely deployed at the school level in the area such as: Vinh Loc High School , Vinh Hoa Secondary School, Vinh Ninh Secondary School, Vinh Hung Secondary School, Vinh Tien Secondary School, Pham Van Hinh Secondary School, creating many good impressions and contributing to fostering the love of heritage in the young generation. In addition to organizing a variety of heritage education activities, creativity in the approach is also a new point this year.
In the coming time, the Center will choose open spaces or organize experiential activities at relics in the heritage area, contributing to promoting propaganda and vivid visual education for the public, especially the young generation, on preserving and promoting the value of national cultural heritage, educating patriotism and pride in the cultural identity of the locality, homeland and country.
