Accordingly, the processor launched by the Chinese company is the PStar P3-01105, which has the same specifications as the Intel Comet Lake Core i3-10105 chip. The manufacturer PowerLeader recently announced a completely new x86 CPU codenamed PowerStar. The company held a big event inviting the press from many places. But it turns out that this chip is nothing more than an improved 10th generation Intel CPU.

The Geekbench 5 benchmark of the PowerLeader DP1UI-2 workstation reveals that the first-generation PS TAR P3-01105 is nothing more than a Core i3-10105 CPU derived from the 10th-generation Intel Comet Lake lineup. The chip also shares similar specifications, offering a base clock of 3.7 GHz, a maximum boost of 4.4 GHz, 6 MB of L3 cache, and a TDP of 65W. Even the performance is identical to Intel's Core i3 chips.

There was some suspicion that these chips were Intel CPUs, and now Geekbench has more or less confirmed that. The chipmaker says it expects annual sales of 1.5 million units, and it also has a full roadmap planned for its Powerstar product line.

The CPUs will ship in pre-assembled systems, so retail sales are unlikely. PowerLeader is positioning the Powerstar x86 CPU line for a variety of segments including education, government, energy, industrial, financial, healthcare, retail, and gaming. The company also claims that it has a complete product roadmap in place and will continue to develop the Powerstar product line.
