1. "A teacher not only teaches but also sows faith and hope for students in disadvantaged areas" - That is the thought of teacher Vu Van Tung - Teacher at Dinh Nup Primary and Secondary School (Po To commune, Ia Pa district).
Having worked at the school for more than 10 years, Mr. Tung clearly understands the difficulties and deprivation of students in disadvantaged areas. Witnessing many Bahnar students having to drop out of school due to poverty, Mr. Tung could not help but feel sad. From that concern, the "Zero-VND Bread Cabinet" model founded by him was born in December 2021 to support breakfast for more than 200 ethnic minority students of the school. To date, the total cost of implementing the model is more than 400 million VND.
In addition, Mr. Tung also implemented the model of “Giving livelihoods to poor students” by giving goats and cows to disadvantaged students of schools in the district. Every year, he also mobilizes teachers, friends, family and benefactors to support the “Step by step to school” Fund to give gifts to students and families in difficult circumstances…
In teaching, Mr. Tung always improves his knowledge and moral qualities to serve his professional tasks well; advises the Board of Directors to organize meetings with village elders, village chiefs and departments, branches and organizations to propagate and mobilize students to go to class.

In a school with over 90% of Bahnar students, the teacher not only sows knowledge but also helps the students reduce difficulties and deprivation. His love will be the flame that lights up the faith and hope for students in difficult areas”.
