In the letter, Ms. Binh stated that at around 3:00 p.m. on August 1, her family discovered that the motorbike 85H1-10064 was missing. When checking the GPS, they discovered that the motorbike was being driven by a thief on National Highway 1A through Ham Thuan Nam district at a very high speed of about 90km. She called the Ninh Thuan Police and was instructed to call the Traffic Police Department of Binh Thuan Police on duty. Only 35 minutes after receiving the information from Ms. Binh, the Traffic Police force quickly deployed to patrol the route, promptly intercepted and arrested the subject and the stolen vehicle.
“Through the above incident, my family and I sincerely thank the traffic police officers of Binh Thuan province for upholding their sense of responsibility and determination to promptly arrest the subject and the stolen property. The actions of the officers and soldiers clearly demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, in line with the slogan “Serving the people”. It is known that the Provincial Police Traffic Police Department also sent an official dispatch requesting the Provincial Police Leaders to reward 3 officers of Ham Tan Traffic Police Station under the Provincial Traffic Police Department, including: Major Nguyen Manh Hung, Major Nguyen Thanh Trung, Major Truong Van Binh in the Patrol Team.
The document stated: At 3:30 p.m. on August 1, 2023, after receiving information from the unit's on-duty officer about a young man over 30 years old, wearing a black jacket, who had stolen a motorbike with license plate 85H1-100.64 in Ninh Thuan province, currently traveling on National Highway 1A in the direction of Ninh Thuan to Ho Chi Minh City. The patrol and control team reported to the Command of Ham Tan Traffic Police Station and quickly deployed forces and vehicles to arrest the subject. When discovering the subject driving a motorbike with license plate 85H1-100.64 at high speed at Km 1718 National Highway 1A, the patrol and control team coordinated with the Traffic Police Team and Ham Thuan Nam District Police to support the pursuit. At around 4:00 p.m. the same day, the force arrested the subject at Km 1723, National Highway 1A in Ham Cuong commune, Ham Thuan Nam district.
The seized exhibits include: 1 motorbike with license plate 85H1-100.64, Future model, worth over 20 million VND; 1 pepper spray bottle; 1 signal jamming device; 1 mobile phone; 4 iron bars used to break the motorbike lock. Through the investigation and quick investigation, the subject confessed his name: Phan Van Anh Rin (born in 1987, permanent residence at Group 22 Hon Chong, Vinh Phuoc Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province). The subject confessed that the motorbike with license plate 85H1-100.64 was stolen by Rin in Suoi Da village, Loi Hai commune, Thuan Bac district, Ninh Thuan province and was on its way to Ho Chi Minh City for sale.
