At the conference, the representative of the Department of Home Affairs announced 3 decisions of the Provincial People's Committee, including: Decision No. 2016/QD-UBND dated December 8, 2023, on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Bui Van Luyen, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Po district to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction; Decision No. 2018/QD-UBND dated December 8, 2023 on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Muong Nhe district to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Decision No. 2019/QD-UBND dated December 8, 2023 on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Vu Van Ngoc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Muong Cha district to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Provincial Project Management Board of Civil and Industrial Works. The term of the appointment decisions is 5 years from the date of signing.
Speaking at the assignment, comrade Le Thanh Do , Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that being assigned and appointed to a leadership position at a provincial department, branch or industry is an honor and an important responsibility, and at the same time a new challenge for each individual comrade assigned to the position . The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Construction to continue researching and advising the Provincial People's Committee on state management of construction planning, architecture, construction investment activities, urban development, technical infrastructure, housing management and real estate market, construction materials management... Focus on completing the General Planning Project of Dien Bien Phu city until 2045; focus on performing tasks as the standing agency of the Steering Committee for Construction Investment and moving the provincial agencies and units to the Political - Administrative Center.
For the Department of Science and Technology, continue to research and advise the Provincial People's Committee on state management of scientific research activities, technology development, innovation; development of scientific and technological potential; standards, measurement, quality; intellectual property; deployment, application and management of the product traceability system...
For the Provincial Civil and Industrial Project Management Board, continue to perform well the tasks as an investor, directly manage construction investment projects under its authority ; supervise the construction of programs and projects in the province to ensure quality and progress, especially key programs and projects of the province such as: Provincial Guest House Project; Provincial Museum Project; Project to Repair and Upgrade Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu Primary School; construction of headquarters buildings , etc.
