The program "Spring Colors of Western Nghe An" in 2024 is a practical activity to welcome the New Year, celebrate the Party, and celebrate the Spring of Giap Thin 2024.
The program is organized with the aim of preserving and promoting the good customs and practices of the ethnic communities in Western Nghe An during the traditional Tet holiday; strengthening and consolidating the great solidarity of Vietnamese ethnic groups through cultural and artistic exchange activities, encouraging the spirit of welcoming the New Year with a new spirit of the ethnic communities in Western Nghe An.
The program aims to promote and introduce the tourism potential of Western Nghe An, a friendly and attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists, and at the same time organize activities imbued with the cultural identity of the Western ethnic groups.
The program includes: Performances of folk songs, folk music, folk dances, excerpts from traditional folk festival rituals of ethnic minorities; exchange of drumming - gong - carving - bamboo dancing to celebrate the Spring Festival; organization of ethnic minority folk games; organization of tourism promotion activities typical of the people of the Western region.
The program "Spring Colors of Western Nghe An" will take place on January 30 - 31, 2024 (December 20 - 12 of the Lunar calendar) in Tan Ky district.
The host unit is the Department of Culture and Sports, the host unit is the People's Committee of Tan Ky district. The participating units include the Provincial Cultural Center, the Provincial Traditional Arts Center, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, the Provincial Ethnic Committee, the Department of Tourism, Nghe An Electricity and the mass art teams of Anh Son, Tan Ky, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son districts.
In the issued Plan, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to preside over and coordinate with units to organize the Program "Spring Colors of Western Nghe An" in 2024 in accordance with the scale, saving the budget, effectively and practically. At the same time, direct the development of scenarios and contents related to the program implementation.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned relevant departments, branches, units and localities based on their functions and tasks to coordinate well, ensuring the success of the "Spring Colors of Western Nghe An" Program in 2024.
