Art program performing the play "The Coconut Sister"

Attending the event were Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Be Muoi, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Mai Ry, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dang Thi Phuong.

This is a historical play, depicting typical milestones associated with the life and revolutionary career of Female General Nguyen Thi Dinh. Thereby, it aims to honor and strengthen propaganda and education about the example of Female General Nguyen Thi Dinh - a typical female leader, who devoted her whole life to the cause of fighting, liberating the nation, building a socialist Fatherland, a shining example of sacrifice, kindness, a virtuous and talented woman.

Delegates presented flowers to congratulate the artists of Ben Tre Cai Luong Art Troupe after the performance.

The play is 90 minutes long with many scenes, directed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Thi Kieu Ton is responsible for the content, author: Ho Thanh Tung, stage director Huy Tran, art direction: People's Artist Giang Manh Ha, script editing and organization: Tran Thanh Hung. The play has the participation of most artists of the Ben Tre Cai Luong Art Troupe, artist Phuong Trinh plays Nguyen Thi Dinh.

At the program, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Trung presented flowers to acknowledge the efforts of the Ben Tre Cai Luong Art Troupe in actively practicing to complete the play. After the play, the delegates presented flowers to congratulate the artists. It is known that after the performance, the Cai Luong play "Nguoi Chi Xu Dua" will continue to tour in many localities in the province to serve the people.
