Kinhtedothi- At the Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference, electing the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term XVI, 2020 - 2025, comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee with high confidence, reaching 100%.
On February 7, Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to elect the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 16th term, 2020 - 2025.
Attending the conference were comrades: Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Trinh Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.
Accordingly, based on Document No. 13157-CV/VPTW dated January 17, 2025 of the Central Party Office notifying the Politburo's opinion on the policy of implementing the process of perfecting and supplementing the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 16th term, 2020 - 2025 term, personnel from the province's on-site cadre planning source, after implementing the cadre work process, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Document No. 49-TTr/TU dated January 19, 2025 to the Politburo and the Central Organizing Committee on introducing personnel to perfect the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 16th term, 2020 - 2025 term; approved by the Politburo, there is Document No. 13336-CV/VPTW dated February 7, 2025 of the Central Party Office notifying the Politburo's opinion on introducing comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term XVI, 2020 - 2025.
Pursuant to Regulation No. 232-QD/TW dated January 20, 2015 of the Central Executive Committee on the implementation of the Party Charter, Regulation No. 80-QD/TW dated August 18, 2022 of the Politburo on decentralization of cadre management and appointment and introduction of candidates; Decision No. 190-QD/TW dated October 10, 2024 on promulgating the Election Regulations within the Party, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has Document No. 50-TTr/TU dated February 7, 2025 submitted to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for consideration and election of the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee according to regulations.
At the Conference, comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee with high confidence, reaching 100%.
