On average, female birds lay 100-150 eggs per year. Pheasants are wild birds, so they have good resistance, are rarely affected by diseases, and adapt well to captivity. Their main food is rice, corn, and green vegetables, so they are easy to find.

To date, he has had more than 100 female birds for breeding, and at times his family's cage had over 550 birds. Because of the increasing demand for breeding, he boldly invested in buying an incubator worth 4,000,000 VND from the beginning.

Since having the incubator, the hatching rate of chicks is over 90%; from there the family's income has been increasingly raised and developed.

It can be affirmed that Mr. Hai is a pioneer in raising pheasants in Cu Lao Dung town. When it comes to selling, there are many customers who order, many times when the pheasants have not yet hatched, customers have already ordered in advance, he usually sells baby birds from 80,000-85,000 VND/bird, and commercial pheasants are sold after about 5 months for about 180,000 VND/kg.

On average, the income from raising pheasants has increased his stable income from 15,000,000 VND - 25,000,000 VND/month.
