In a quick exchange with Dan Viet reporter, Mr. Lo Van Thoa, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Thuan Chau district (Son La) said: At about 6:20 p.m. on March 25, the hail lasted for about 10 to 15 minutes in the communes of Chieng Pha, Phong Lai, Muong E, Phong Lap, E Tong... the hailstones were from 1 to 3cm in diameter.
According to initial statistics, there were no human casualties, many houses had their roofs blown off. Currently, there are no statistics on crop damage, Thuan Chau district has directed communes to continue to review property damage, support households to overcome the consequences according to the "4 on-site" motto.

According to forecasts, the weather is showing unusual developments. The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Thuan Chau district has directed communes and towns to regularly update weather conditions to inform and guide people to proactively prevent and minimize damage.
At the same time, prepare forces, materials and means on site to promptly deploy rescue operations, minimizing damage caused by natural disasters.
