The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have just issued information on the management of gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. on October 23.
Accordingly, the Joint Ministry decided to increase 460 VND per liter of E5 RON 92 gasoline and 470 VND per liter for RON 95 gasoline. After adjustment, the maximum retail price for E5 RON 92 gasoline is 22,370 VND per liter and for RON 95 gasoline is 23,510 VND per liter.
Similarly, diesel price increased by 80 VND/liter to 22,490 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 290 VND/liter to 22,750 VND/liter; mazut increased by 370 VND/kg to 16,610 VND/kg.
In this management period, the joint ministry did not set aside or spend the price stabilization fund for all types of gasoline and oil.
In the most recent adjustment period (October 11), gasoline prices were adjusted down sharply. Accordingly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND1,595/liter to VND21,910/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND1,798/liter, the selling price was VND23,040/liter. The price of diesel oil decreased by VND1,184/liter, to VND22,410/liter; kerosene decreased by VND1,352/liter, to VND22,460/liter; and fuel oil decreased by VND1,214/kg, to VND16,240/kg.
