Social networks are in an uproar with a series of posts expressing frustration and disappointment with Cafe Giang, Hanoi. This is one of the places that famous Korean singer and actor - Choi Siwon (Super Junior group) visited during his visit to Vietnam.

An account believed to be a member of Cafe Giang shared a photo of famous Korean singer and actor Super - Choi Siwon, when he came to enjoy a drink at the shop.

In the posted information, this person said that even if Super Junior came, they would still charge money like normal guests, there would be no such thing as free.

The online community is outraged because the writer showed disrespect towards Choi Siwon.

The information posted made many fans and the online community feel indignant because the writer showed disrespect towards Choi Siwon.

"If you spend money and beg to invite people to your restaurant, they may not accept. Having people come to your restaurant is a great way to promote the restaurant for free. Now your restaurant has a bad reputation."

"A self-destruction", "Even Asian celebrities with assets worth tens of millions of dollars are looked down upon like this, so how much more are ordinary people looked down upon? People come to drink and pay, not to beg, so why write a status that treats them like beggars" - one account commented.

The official fanpage of Giang Coffee posted an apology to Choi Siwon.

The online community believes that Choi Siwon has millions of fans around the world. This should have been a great opportunity to spread and introduce the image of Giang cafe in particular, and Vietnamese coffee in general, to international friends, however, the members of the cafe used unfriendly words.

On the afternoon of October 17, Cafe Giang's official fanpage posted an apology to Choi Siwon and the male singer's fans for the "misleading incident".

"It is an honor for the shop to be loved and visited by you during your working time in Vietnam. We are very sorry for posting content on the personal page (of a member of the shop, not the owner) that does not represent the shop's point of view. After reviewing, the shop also found that the use of words was incorrect, leading to misunderstandings. We sincerely hope you sympathize with the unfortunate incident that happened. We also ask for your support during this time," the cafe's fanpage posted.

Despite posting an apology, Cafe Giang has not been accepted by the online community. There are many opposing comments under this post. The cafe's fanpage has also continuously received 1-star reviews.

Cafe Giang is the most famous coffee shop in Hanoi. The shop was established in 1946 and has appeared in many prestigious newspapers and travel news sites around the world.
