On the occasion of coming to Ho Chi Minh City to perform in the concert Super Junior LSS The Show: Th3ee Guys taking place on the evening of March 23, the members of Super Junior LSS had a chat with Tuoi Tre Online .
Ho Chi Minh City is one of the group's stops on their Asia tour. Previously, Super Junior LSS performed in Jakarta, Hong Kong and will continue to Bangkok, Taipei in the near future.
Think of Vietnam when choosing a tour destination
Although the sub-group Super Junior LSS was only formed at the beginning of this year, all three members Leeteuk, Siwon and Shindong have been active with Super Junior for nearly 20 years.

It can be said that Super Junior is a "veteran" in the K-Pop music industry and is one of the few second generation groups that are still active today.
Therefore, they are often jokingly called "uncles" by fans (all members of the group are over 30 years old).
Having been to Vietnam many times before, Super Junior LSS shared with Tuoi Tre Online that all three members thought of Vietnam when choosing the destination for The Show: Th3ee Guys:
"We have long loved Vietnamese culture and cuisine. Especially the fans here are very enthusiastic, they all have a lot of love for the group. So, we decided to come to Vietnam."

Member Siwon also shared with Tuoi Tre Online that the group decided to prepare the stands entirely with seats because they were afraid that the audience would get tired if they stood for a long time.
Since most of the ELFs (fan community name) are adults, some of whom are married, the group wanted to bring a complete experience to all the audience attending the event.
'We will continue to grow old with everyone'
When asked if Super Junior LSS thinks they are competing with younger, more passionate groups, "oldest brother" Leeteuk said they think the opposite:
"I think young people have to compete with us!
We've been active for quite a while now and there are a lot of people who have supported and loved Super Junior for nearly 20 years, so right now we're just thinking about how to repay their love."

"As for me, if when I was young I always thought that I would try my best, then at my current age I just think about how I should perform without falling" - member Shindong humorously shared.
The reason Shindong answered like that was because he witnessed Leeteuk having an accident that injured his arm while performing at an event in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of last year because...he danced too hard.

However, according to Leeteuk, that wound accidentally became his special mark in Vietnam.
"Every time I see that wound, I immediately think of Vietnam. At that time, everyone probably thought I was just pretending to be in pain, but in reality, it really hurt. There are still traces of it now," Leeteuk told Tuoi Tre Online .

Leeteuk added that as soon as he arrived in Vietnam, he received many comments and loving messages from fans. The male singer was very grateful for the precious feelings of Vietnamese ELF:
"After going through our youth together, we think we will continue to grow old together and have more happiness in the future."

As for Siwon, besides being grateful, he also wants to respond to those precious feelings as a mission that must be done.
"Every year, my love for my fans grows stronger and deeper. A relationship of nearly 20 years is not easy to encounter in real life, so I really want to have many more beautiful memories with my fans in Vietnam."
