Ca Mau announces list of textbooks for the 2024-2025 school year

On June 2, according to information from the Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the Chairman of the People's Committee of this province has just issued a decision approving the list of textbooks for grades 5, 9 and 12 used in general education institutions in the province, school year 2024-2025.

Accordingly, grades 5 and 9 use the Creative Horizon textbook series of the Vietnam Education Publishing House. English books use the Global Success series, also of the Vietnam Education Publishing House.

Grade 12 uses the textbook series Connecting knowledge with life of Vietnam Education Publishing House. English books also use the Global Success series. National defense and security education uses the textbook series National defense and security education of Vietnam Education Publishing House.

Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training approved and announced the list of textbooks for grades 5, 9, and 12 to be used from the 2024-2025 school year. According to the approved list, there are 41 textbooks for subjects and educational activities for grade 5 students to be used in general education institutions from the next school year. Similarly, the number of approved books for grade 9 is 48 books and for grade 12 is 39 books.

In the 2023-2024 school year, students in grades 5, 9, and 12 will study textbooks from the 2006 general education program, which is the last year of studying under the old program. The new textbooks for grades 5, 9, and 12, starting in the 2024-2025 school year, will help students actively study, connect the knowledge and skills they have learned to apply to real life; at the same time, help teachers innovate teaching methods, successfully implementing the 2018 General Education Program.
