New steps in teaching and quality assessment

Tra Vinh University recorded two important events, marking its remarkable development in training and scientific research.

On January 13, 2025, Tra Vinh University (TVU) organized two special events, affirming new steps in teaching, scientific research and educational quality assessment. These are important milestones not only for the school but also for the entire higher education system in Vietnam.

Awarding the appointment decision to 04 Associate Professors

At the Conference of cadres, civil servants, public employees and the Conference of typical advanced models in 2025, TVU solemnly held the Ceremony to Announce the Decision and award the certificate of meeting the standards of the title of Associate Professor of the State Council of Professors to four excellent lecturers: Associate Professor, Dr. Chau Thi Hoang Hoa, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thi Thu Diem, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Truc Linh and Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tan Tai.

Mr. Nguyen Quynh Thien, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee, attended and delivered a congratulatory speech to the new Associate Professors.

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, President of TVU, emphasized that the appointment of new Associate Professors is a testament to the university’s tireless efforts in improving the quality of human resources. He also affirmed that this is not only the achievement of individuals but also the pride of the entire university. This will contribute to creating a solid foundation for TVU’s sustainable development in the national and international higher education system.

The new Associate Professors also expressed their deep gratitude to the school and pledged to continue to contribute to teaching, research and knowledge transfer to bring the Tra Vinh University brand further on the educational map.

Achieved educational institution quality accreditation - achieved Cycle II accreditation certification

On the same day, TVU also held a ceremony to announce the decision and award the certificate of educational institution quality assessment - Cycle II, conducted by the Center for Educational Quality Assessment under Ho Chi Minh City National University. The survey results from October 15 to October 19, 2024 showed that TVU achieved 109/111 criteria from 4 points or higher on a 5-point scale with all 25 criteria achieving an average score of 4.00 or higher. This is the second consecutive time that TVU has achieved the certificate of educational institution quality assessment.

The school’s leadership emphasized the development strategy of “advanced university, application-oriented, international integration,” with the goal of training high-quality human resources to meet social demands. The school is focusing on investing in modern infrastructure and information technology systems to best serve students and the community.

These two events are not only proud milestones but also motivation for Tra Vinh University to continue affirming its position in the field of higher education in Vietnam as well as in the world. With these tireless efforts, TVU is gradually creating sustainable values ​​in education and scientific research.
