On the evening of September 9, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department coordinated with Vietnam Television to organize the Award Ceremony for Composing and Promoting Literary, Artistic and Journalistic Works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" for the period 2021-2023.
Attending the Award Ceremony were Politburo member, Permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai; Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia; Vice President, First Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
Through 6 times of organization, the Award for Composing and Promoting Literary, Artistic and Journalistic Works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" has affirmed its prestige and significance, contributing to enlivening and enriching the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; building the morality, mettle, soul and character of Vietnamese people in the new era.
According to the assessment of the Central Propaganda Department, the 2021-2023 Award was implemented during the time when the epidemic was occurring nationwide, which was affected by many factors, limiting creative and promotional activities. However, in 2022 and early 2023, localities, agencies, units, and Literature and Arts Associations from the central to grassroots levels focused on directing, propagating, guiding, and creating conditions for creative and promotional activities to be implemented in accordance with the plan of the Central Propaganda Department and the Award Regulations.
Speaking at the conclusion of the Awards for the 2021-2023 period and launching the Awards for the 2023-2025 period, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that the Awards are a very important and necessary activity to practically implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, resolutions, directives and conclusions of the 13th Central Executive Committee, Politburo, Secretariat, especially Conclusion No. 01 KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
According to the Head of the Central Propaganda Department, in recent times, implementing the close direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Propaganda Department and relevant agencies from the Central to the local levels have proactively and actively organized propaganda, guidance, encouragement and motivation for artists, intellectuals, journalists, cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to participate in composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".
Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia congratulated the collectives and individuals who received the Award for Composing and Promoting Literary, Artistic and Journalistic Works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" for the period 2021-2023.
The Head of the Central Propaganda Department also commended agencies, units, and localities, especially specialized Literature and Arts Associations, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and the Vietnam Publishing Association, for their high sense of responsibility in overcoming many difficulties and challenges in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the same time, there have been many initiatives and creative and effective ways of propagating, mobilizing and attracting cadres, party members, members and people of all walks of life to participate in activities of composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style". Thereby, arousing feelings of respect, gratitude and steadfast belief in President Ho Chi Minh and our Party among artists, intellectuals, journalists and our compatriots at home and abroad.
Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia requested that in the coming time, Party committees at all levels, the Central Propaganda Department and relevant agencies from the central to local levels, artists, intellectuals, journalists, cadres, party members and people continue to promote the achievements.
At the same time, promote the creation and promotion of literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the next period (2023-2025), contributing practically to improving the effectiveness of propaganda work, spreading and arousing patriotism, strength, cultural values and Vietnamese people.
