Following the success of the previous 4 seasons, the French Festival & Francophone Community 2025 will return to Hanoi from March 28 to 30, 2025. This time, at Thong Nhat Park, the French Festival Balade en France, for the first time, combines with the International Francophone Day program to bring a broad experience, immersed in French culture.
The Balade en France Festival will be expanded to become the "Festival of France & Francophone Community Balade en Franceet en Francophonie" , giving visitors the opportunity to explore France and the countries in the Francophone community. The event is organized with the support of the Hanoi People's Committee and the companionship of Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank).
This is the second year VPBank has participated in this event. VPBank representative said that the bank sees the festival as an activity that brings many cultural values to the community, in line with the mission that the bank pursues.
"Through the festival, we hope to bring physical and spiritual prosperity to our customers," the representative added.
This year, VPBank brings to the booth the activity " Breakthrough Steps " - a Marathon challenge with virtual reality technology, a sport in which players need to use their strength to run and interact with virtual obstacles from the VR screen. After completing the race, players will receive a tree planting kit with the message "Sow the seeds of prosperity" from VPBank Prime.

This year's festival is designed for young people and families in Hanoi, revolving around three main activities: the 3rd Francophone Run, a Food Festival to explore products from France and an exhibition on French-language study abroad orientation with the theme "I study and I act", aimed at young people wishing to study abroad at the university level in French.
Hanoians and visitors will have the opportunity to discover the highlights of the festival that made the 2024 season a success. A French fair with more than 80 booths for visitors to discover French agricultural and food heritage. Tasting activities and culinary demonstrations by professional chefs will take visitors to discover famous French products: dairy products, chocolate, bread, cheese, cold cuts, fruits, wine and alcoholic beverages.
The festival is also an occasion to celebrate French cuisine, both in terms of food and festive spirit, and the abundance of everyday ingredients associated with regional specialties.
Participating in the festival, visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy a special music program with two highlights on Friday and Saturday nights with famous singers such as Thanh Tu & Etienne, Sophie de Quay, Ha Myo, Bui Cong Nam & Kay Tran, Mac Mai Suong, not to mention the always-awaited performances of students from bilingual classes in Hanoi.
