The event was organized by the Mekong Delta Tourism Association in collaboration with Can Tho College of Tourism to encourage the enthusiasm and creativity of tour guides; at the same time, it was an opportunity for candidates to exchange, learn, and improve their skills and professional expertise. Thereby, the event contributed to improving the quality of tourism services in the Southwest region.
According to the judges, the contestants demonstrated their talent, knowledge and creativity through many exciting competitions.
In particular, stories about the culture, history and nature typical of the Mekong Delta were impressively told by the contestants, creating a lively and inspiring space.
Each competition demonstrates the professionalism, pride and deep love that the tour guides have for their homeland.
At the end of the final round, contestant Dinh Hai Duong won first prize; contestants Ho Dang Gia Bao and Phan Thi Thai Quyen won second prize; contestants Vo Thi Thao Nguyen, Tran Quang Nguyen Hoang Anh and Tran Da Dam all won third prize.

According to the Organizing Committee, training and professional development for tour guides is a key factor in improving service quality; at the same time, promoting the sustainable development of the tourism industry in the Southwest region.
This is a solid foundation for building a community of professional tour guides, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnam's tourism industry.
The main prize structure includes: - 1 First Prize: Certificate of Merit from the Organizing Committee, prize money worth 8 million VND/prize. - 2 Second Prizes: Certificate of Merit from the Organizing Committee, prize money worth 4 million VND/prize. - 3 Third Prizes: Certificate of Merit from the Organizing Committee, prize money worth 3 million VND/prize. - 5 Consolation prizes: Certificate of merit from the Organizing Committee, prize money worth 2 million VND/prize. |
