Thanks to that, Van Chuan was voted the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Center back Luong Duy Cuong also had a successful tournament as an indispensable factor in the defense of U23 Vietnam. Meanwhile, Khuat Van Khang was the conductor in the midfield of U23 Vietnam. As for Xuan Tien, this player had an effective tournament when scoring six goals, winning the "Top scorer" award with Alif Ikmalrizal of U23 Malaysia.

One day after winning the championship, U23 Vietnam took a flight from Thailand to Hanoi and arrived at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to attend the celebration ceremony organized by VFF.
The VFF Executive Committee also decided to reward the Vietnam U23 team with one billion VND for winning the championship. In the whole tournament, Vietnam U23 was awarded a total of 1.8 billion VND by the VFF after winning four consecutive matches, respectively against Laos U23 (4-1), Philippines U23 (1-0), Malaysia U23 (4-1) and Indonesia U23 (winning 6-5 on penalties).
