The Ministry of Construction has just issued a Decision to announce the opening of Tan Chi dry port phase 1 in Tan Chi commune, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province.
According to the announcement, Tan Chi dry port is located in Tan Chi commune, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province (the area of Dabaco Vietnam inland waterway port in Tan Chi commune has been announced by the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration).
The dry port has an area of 81,910.9m2, invested by DABACO Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company.
Tan Chi dry port aims to exploit, trade services and carry out import and export procedures for goods at the dry port in accordance with regulations.
The objective of the dry port is to exploit, conduct business services and carry out procedures for exporting and importing goods at the dry port in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 38/2017 of the Government and the Investment Certificate and Business Registration Certificate issued by the competent authority.
The investor (DABACO Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company) is required to perform the responsibilities and powers of a dry port operator as prescribed in Decree No. 38/2017 of the Government regulating investment in construction, management and exploitation of dry ports in Vietnam and relevant legal provisions.
At the same time, the organization must operate the dry port when all procedures have been completed according to regulations and for the right purpose, in accordance with the investment stages, ensuring safety, security, fire and explosion prevention, and environmental pollution prevention.
The investor is also responsible for operating and maintaining the works and items in accordance with the announced plans and current regulations. Any case of renovation, expansion or change in the nature of use of the works must be reported to the competent authority in accordance with regulations.
At the same time, specialized state management agencies perform specialized state management responsibilities at Tan Chi dry port according to the provisions of Decree No. 38/2017 of the Government and relevant legal provisions.
The Ministry of Construction assigned the Vietnam Maritime Administration to inspect and supervise the operation of dry ports according to the provisions of Decree No. 38/2017 of the Government and relevant legal provisions.
