In the new era of development, Vietnamese youth not only face wide-open opportunities but also have to overcome many challenges to assert themselves and contribute to the country.
"A pure heart" helps them maintain morality and noble ideals; "a bright mind" brings sharp, creative thinking; and "great ambition" is the driving force to reach far and contribute. So how can today's young generation nurture these core values, turn aspirations into practical actions and become the pioneering force to move the country forward in the era of integration?
Nurturing the "Inner Heart" Amidst the Pressures of Modern Life
Amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life, when material values often overwhelm spiritual values, maintaining a "pure heart" is not easy. But it is also in these challenges that the steadfastness, courage and sincerity of each young person truly shine.
"A pure heart" is not something that is innate, but the result of a training process, a daily choice in the face of temptations and pressures. That is when we dare to refuse shortcuts full of traps, not trading our conscience for quick success. That is when we still maintain integrity, compassion and kindness in the midst of competition, when we do not let ourselves be swept away by the whirlpool of fame and money and forget our core values.
To maintain a "pure heart", young people need a support, which can be family, teachers, and like-minded companions. Reading a good book, spending time with inspiring people, living among beautiful and kind things - all can help us nurture a strong soul in the face of life's storms.
Most importantly, every young person needs to ask themselves: What am I living for? What values cannot be lost? When we always ask ourselves these questions, we will be alert enough not to get lost, strong enough not to compromise with things that are not worthy. A "pure heart" not only helps us be at peace with ourselves, but is also a light to spread good things, contributing to making this society cleaner.

"Intelligence" in the digital age
In a world that is changing every day, where technology is developing rapidly and knowledge is exploding exponentially, "intelligence" is not only about acquiring knowledge but also the ability to think sharply, to ask questions, to dare to challenge the beaten path and to constantly innovate. A bright mind is not a mind filled with information, but one that knows how to analyze, select, debate and find new directions from seemingly familiar things.
We can look at young Vietnamese people who are talented and capable in many fields to see that critical thinking and adaptability are factors that make success. Nguyen Ha Dong - the author of the game Flappy Bird, succeeded thanks to his creative thinking and daring to think differently. Le Yen Thanh - a young technology engineer, who used to work at Google, founded BusMap to help people travel more conveniently. Or Dang Van Hien - a Mong boy in Lao Cai, from a buffalo herder boy has risen to become one of Google's best programmers. What they have in common is that they constantly ask questions, dare to challenge themselves and do not accept limits.
But "intelligence" is not only about asking questions, but also about adaptability, an important quality in the digital age. Technology changes, the market fluctuates, society is constantly changing, if we are not flexible, do not dare to change, we will be left behind. Young people starting businesses in the fields of technology, smart agriculture or e-commerce all understand that today's success can be obsolete tomorrow if we do not quickly innovate, like Nguyen Ba Canh Son - founder of Mismart company, who creates smart drones to serve Vietnamese agriculture. Or Tran Viet Hung, founder of Got It, who has reached out to the world thanks to his ability to adapt and innovate constantly.
No one is born with brilliant intelligence, but everyone can train themselves to become wiser every day. When the young generation dares to think differently, dares to look far, dares to do great things, it is not only the development of the individual, but also the motivation for the whole nation to move forward. Vietnam has a generation of ambitious young people, ready to break through, they will be the ones to continue writing the story of the future.
Turn ambition into practical action
Great ambitions are not only personal dreams, but also the desire to contribute to the country. How far a young generation can reach is not only measured by personal success, but also by the values they create for the community and society. But how can those ambitions not just stop at words or ideas on paper, but become concrete actions, contributing to the sustainable development of the country?
First of all, big ambitions must be accompanied by a strong will and a spirit of action. There is no shortage of young Vietnamese people who dare to think big and dedicate themselves to the community. We can mention Nguyen Thi Thu Trang - a girl who was once in the top "30 Under 30" of Forbes Vietnam thanks to founding a plastic waste recycling project, contributing to environmental protection. Or Hoang Hoa Trung - a young man who devoted his youth to building schools for children in the highlands, making educational dreams come true. They not only have ambitions, but also constantly act, step by step turning the impossible into possible.
Today's young generation has more advantages than ever with the development of science and technology, global connectivity and endless learning opportunities. But opportunities will be meaningless without a sense of responsibility and perseverance. Many young startups in Vietnam have reached out to the world, not only creating economic value but also contributing to solving social problems. For example, Nguyen Ba Canh Son with his agricultural drone project to optimize sustainable agricultural production. That is Pham Khanh Linh - founder of Logivan, bringing technology to the logistics sector to reduce costs and protect the environment. They not only enrich themselves but also create real value for the country.
But big ambitions don’t have to be grand. Sometimes, a small act can make a big impact. A young doctor accepts to go to a remote area to treat the poor. A technology engineer dedicates himself to research to master artificial intelligence. A young person dares to step out of his comfort zone, persevering with his ideals instead of choosing the easy path. Big changes always start with small steps, but the most important thing is to dare to take them.
Vietnam needs a generation of young people who not only have dreams, but also have the responsibility and will to turn those dreams into action. When each young person lights the fire of dedication, the whole country will light up, moving forward on the path of sustainable development.

Cultivate the spirit of "pure heart, bright mind, great ambition"
A strong generation of young people does not come naturally, but is nurtured by a liberal education, a loving family and an inspiring society. In the journey to build a generation of young people with "pure hearts, bright minds and great ambitions", the companionship of three important pillars is indispensable: education, family and society. Each element plays a separate role but all aim towards the common goal of creating citizens who are both moral and intelligent and have the desire to contribute to the country.
Education is the foundation of “intelligence”. An education system that not only imparts knowledge but also encourages critical thinking, creativity and innovation is the key to ensuring that Vietnamese youth do not fall behind in the digital age. Furthermore, education needs to inspire love for the homeland and national pride, so that each young person understands that intelligence is not only for themselves but also must be linked to the development of the country.
Looking at countries with advanced education systems like Finland or Japan, we see that they not only teach students how to be better, but also teach them how to become responsible citizens who are oriented towards the community. Vietnam also needs such an education system, where each student is not only good at knowledge but also steadfast in their ideals in life.
Family is where the seeds of "pure heart" are sown. No one is born with kindness or honesty, all are formed from the first lessons in life, from the way parents teach their children about kindness, from family meals where children learn to listen and share. A child who grows up in love and is encouraged to pursue his passion will have many opportunities to develop into a person with great ambitions. There are young Vietnamese people who reach out to the world but still carry family values, like Nguyen Ha Dong - the father of Flappy Bird, despite his great success, he still chooses a simple life and always maintains a sense of responsibility towards his homeland.
Society is the launching pad for “great ambitions”. A generation of ambitious young people cannot develop if the environment around them suffocates their dreams. Only when society creates equal opportunities, encourages innovation and values, can young people reach their full potential.
We need more programs to support startups, academic and artistic playgrounds, and policies to help young people dare to think, dare to do, dare to contribute. Look at countries with developed science and technology, where new ideas are always welcomed, where young people can try and make mistakes without fear of judgment, that is the ideal environment to nurture ambition.
So how can we create an environment that is conducive to the comprehensive development of the younger generation? First of all, education must be truly innovative in the direction of encouraging independent thinking and creativity. The family needs to become a spiritual support, where children learn core moral values. Society must create many opportunities for young people to develop, encouraging them to contribute to the country's major issues, from the economy to environmental protection and cultural preservation.
When education gives young people knowledge and thinking, families nurture them with love and society motivates them to contribute, that is when we have a young generation that is both "pure in heart" and "bright in mind", carrying great ambitions to bring Vietnam further on the world map.
