Ministry of Education and Training inspects 24 provinces and cities on extra teaching and learning

According to the report sent to the National Assembly by the Ministry of Education and Training, in 2024, the Ministry inspected 24 Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities on "implementation of secondary education tasks, implementation of the 2018 General Education Program, selection of textbooks, extra teaching and learning". Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training inspected 24 Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities including: Quang Ngai, Bac Lieu, Hung Yen, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Binh Phuoc, Quang Binh, Ninh Thuan, Kon Tum, Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Hau Giang, Son La, Bac Kan, Nam Dinh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Dien Bien, Ha Nam, Hai Phong, Dong Thap, Quang Ngai, Can Tho. Regarding the issue of extra teaching and learning, the Ministry of Education and Training said that the management of extra teaching and learning activities in localities is currently facing many difficulties and problems. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Training continues to propose to include extra teaching and learning activities in the list of conditional business lines, as a basis for amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 17/2012 to ensure the suitability and convenience for the management of these activities inside and outside schools./.
