Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today, April 13, 2025 in the Central Highlands region continued to increase compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 123,700 - 125,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 125,000 VND/kg. A sharp increase of 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee prices in Dak Lak province are at 125,000 VND/kg, a slight increase of 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased slightly by VND2,000/kg and were traded at VND125,000/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased sharply by VND2,200/kg to VND123,700/kg.

The coffee market just ended the trading week with a strong uptrend on both major exchanges, thanks to support from a weakening US dollar and concerns about scarce supply.
The greenback continued to depreciate sharply as retaliatory tariffs between countries made investors lose confidence in the safe haven status of the USD. As of early morning on April 13, the US Dollar Index (DXY), reflecting the strength of the USD compared to 6 other major currencies, had fallen sharply by 1.08% to 99.78. This is the lowest level in a decade compared to the Swiss franc and the lowest level in the past three years compared to the euro.
Expert Nguyen Quang Binh commented that the sharp decline in coffee exports from Brazil, combined with low inventories on the London floor, has prompted speculators to return to the market, pushing coffee prices up in recent sessions.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market increased again on both exchanges:
Robusta Coffee (London):
Delivery in May 2025: Up 162 USD/ton, to 5099 USD/ton.
Delivery in July 2025: Up 153 USD/ton, to 5049 USD/ton.
Arabica Coffee (New York):
May 2025 delivery: Up 14.85 cents/lb, to 357.7 cents/lb.
July 2025 delivery: Up 12 cents/lb, to 353.6 cents/lb.
Coffee prices have been rising in recent sessions due to concerns about global supply. According to data from the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Association (Cecafe), the amount of green coffee beans exported from this country in March 2025 reached only 2.95 million bags, down 26% compared to the same period last year.
For robusta, supply pressure was even more evident as ICE-monitored qualified inventories fell to a six-week low of just 4,253 shipments on April 11, a sign that the market is seriously short of robusta.
Another important factor was the announcement by US President Donald Trump to suspend reciprocal tariffs for 90 days on 75 markets. This move eased trade tensions and had a clear positive effect on investor sentiment, contributing to the recovery of coffee prices in the international market.
