Provincial student sports competition awarded 551 prizes

(QBĐT) - On the afternoon of April 12, the Department of Education and Training (DoET) held a summary of the provincial student sports competition for the 2024-2025 school year.

The Organizing Committee awarded first prize to all units.

The provincial sports competition for students in the 2024-2025 school year attracted 1,015 athletes from the Department of Education and Training of districts, towns, cities and high schools to compete in 3 subjects: Swimming with the participation of students from primary to high school (male and female); volleyball with the participation of middle school and high school students (male and female) and badminton with the participation of middle school and high school students (male and female).

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, athletes were given reasonable training and competition schedules; matches were conducted as planned; most athletes had a firm grasp of the competition rules and strictly followed the referee's instructions.

The Organizing Committee awarded second prize to all units.

Over the 3 days of competition, in the spirit of fair and noble sportsmanship, the athletes created exciting matches and left many good impressions in the hearts of the audience. The Organizing Committee awarded 551 prizes to athletes and units with good performance.

Final results of the Department of Education and Training: Dong Hoi City won first prize, Le Thuy District won second prize, Quang Trach District won third prize, and consolation prizes went to Quang Ninh District and Ba Don Town.

The Organizing Committee awarded third prize to the units.

For the block of schools under the Department of Education and Training: First prize went to Nguyen Chi Thanh High School, second prize to Phan Dinh Phung High School, third prize to Le Thuy High School, and consolation prizes were awarded to the following units: Tran Hung Dao High School, Dao Duy Tu High School, Le Hong Phong High School, Quang Ninh High School, Luong The Vinh High School, Nguyen Trai High School, and Le Truc High School.

The Organizing Committee awarded consolation prizes to the entire delegation.

Through this competition, it has created a playground for students to practice physical fitness, solidarity, and evaluate the quality of physical education in high schools; helping the education sector discover and select outstanding athletes to represent students of Quang Binh province to participate in the national sports competition in the coming time.
