Located in the area of 4 highland border communes including A Xan, Tr'hy, Ga Ry and Ch Om, Tay Giang district (Quang Nam province), adjacent to Ka Lum district, Sekong province of Laos, officers and soldiers of A Xan Border Guard Station under the Quang Nam Border Guard Command are diligently performing all assigned tasks to both protect the peace of the border and landmarks, and create conditions for people in the border area to feel secure in developing production, sustainably reducing poverty and welcoming a peaceful spring.

On August 19, 2022, AXAN Border Guards visited, examined and cut hair for free for Co Tu villagers, and at the same time organized a gong cultural exchange to increase the solidarity between the Army and the People here. Author Pham Nhut Thuong recorded these activities in the album "AXAN Border Guards patrol and visit ethnic villages". The photo series was submitted by the author to
the Happy Vietnam Photo and Video Contest, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
