During the visit and working session, leaders of Tay Giang and Nhu Xuan districts informed about the socio-economic development situation and people's lives in each locality; congratulated the achievements of the other district in 2024.

The leaders of the two districts wish to continue building solidarity and close ties between the two localities; regularly send working delegations to exchange and learn from each other's experiences and attend important events of both sides.

* On February 22, during the visit, the delegation of Tay Giang district attended the buffalo offering festival at the Nine-Room Temple in Thanh Quan commune, Nhu Xuan district.

The Buffalo Offering Festival at the Nine-Chamber Temple takes place on February 21 and 22, 2025 (ie January 24 and 25, At Ty year). This is a festival that returns to the roots, a sacred place, a gathering place, with sacred rituals such as the Thai people's rain-praying custom, bamboo dancing, gong beating, cotton tree dancing, throwing con, crossbow shooting, traditional costume contest and many folk games bearing the mark of the Thai people.

The festival is also an opportunity for Nhu Xuan district to introduce and promote its potential and strengths in culture and tourism. The locality said it will coordinate with all levels and sectors to build a scientific dossier to submit to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to recognize the buffalo offering festival at the Nine-Room Temple as a national intangible cultural heritage.

* Previously, in Ha Tinh province, a delegation from Tay Giang district visited the tomb of Hai Thuong Lan Ong - Famous physician Le Huu Trac in Hai Thuong village, Son Giang commune, Huong Son district on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27) and learned about the deer antler farming model in Son Giang commune.
