Binh Duong prepares to announce provincial planning for the 2021-2030 period

The planning thoroughly resolves the shortcomings of the previous planning.

Regarding the planning of Binh Duong province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Mr. Pham Trong Nhan, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Duong province, said: "Due to many objective and subjective reasons, the planning work is slow compared to the general progress of the whole country".

However, with the desire that the province's planning after being approved must be a truly integrated planning and have the unique identity of Binh Duong, suitable for reality and meeting the expectations of a future developed Binh Duong of the community and businesses in the province. Binh Duong's approach on the one hand still adheres to the regulations and instructions of the Central Government, on the other hand, Binh Duong sets the task for the consulting unit to adhere to the Strategic Planning Orientation Framework approved by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to build a planning that ensures quality and feasibility.

In particular, it has closely followed the National planning, national sectoral planning as well as the approved planning of the Southeast region. In addition, Resolution No. 24 of the Politburo and Resolution No. 154 of the Government on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Southeast region to 2030, with a vision to 2045, are taken as the basis for developing integrated goals and plans suitable to the advantages and conditions of the locality; placed in correlation with the provinces and cities in the Southeast region in particular and the Southern key economic region in general.

In which, the focus is on building a plan based on 6 development pillars with 37 tasks, 5 integrated strategies and development according to the structural model: 1 development pillar, 2 ecological corridors, 3 connecting belts, 4 dynamic centers and 5 development zones.

After a period of efforts by the entire political system from the province to the grassroots level, along with the close attention and direction of the Government, Government leaders, enthusiastic support and guidance from ministries, departments and central branches, close coordination of localities in the region, the efforts of all experts, scientists and extremely valuable and practical contributions of the community and businesses in the province; On August 3, Binh Duong province was approved by the Prime Minister for the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 in Decision No. 790.

This planning of Binh Duong is expected to completely overcome the shortcomings and limitations of previous planning.

This is the 61st provincial planning approved out of a total of 63 provinces/cities, thereby increasing the total number of approved plans in the national planning system of our country as of August 31, 2024 to 101 plans, marking a turning point for a new development stage of the country in general and Binh Duong in particular.

Many important events about vision, orientation, investment attraction

At the press conference, Mr. Vo Anh Tuan, Chief of Office of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, said: "It is expected that on September 26, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee will organize the announcement of Binh Duong province's planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 at Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center".

This is an important event to introduce the vision, overall development orientation and attract investment. At the same time, promote Binh Duong to international friends, creating motivation to implement strategic breakthroughs in the coming time based on the foundation of digital transformation, green, smart and sustainable development.

In addition to the main event, part of the series of activities to announce the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, there will also be investment promotion events and communication to promote Top 1 ICF (smart community forum). In addition, many activities will take place such as: inauguration of key projects with regional connectivity (Bach Dang 2 bridge connecting Binh Duong with Dong Nai province; Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang dynamic road); announcement of the provincial planning, groundbreaking of key projects; 2024 electricity and energy exhibition and 2024 Vietnam automation exhibition...

Notably, during the event announcing the planning, Binh Duong province will also hold a groundbreaking ceremony and launch a key project, the Cay Truong industrial park in Bau Bang district, invested by Becamex IDC Corporation.

This is a project that has been expected in Binh Duong in recent years, aiming to continue to create a clean land to attract domestic and foreign investors to invest in building factories. In addition, creating infrastructure to welcome factories moving south of Binh Duong.

According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the Cay Truong Industrial Park project in Lai Uyen town and Cay Truong II commune, Bau Bang district was approved by the People's Council of Binh Duong province for the 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan.

According to the approved project, Cay Truong Industrial Park has a planned area of ​​about 700 hectares, with a workforce of about 35,000 people. Cay Truong Industrial Park is identified as a concentrated, multi-industry industrial park with industrial types attracting investment projects with industries following the socio-economic development orientation of the province.
