TPO - When the new neighborhood model officially comes into operation, the Party cell committee, neighborhood chief, front work committee and neighborhood socio-political organizations will encounter some initial difficulties.
On the afternoon of April 10, the Party Committee - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) held a ceremony to announce the resolution of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council on the arrangement of residential areas in Ho Chi Minh City for Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward and introduce the new residential area personnel associated with the consolidation of the political system at the grassroots level. Attending the ceremony was Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen.
At the ceremony, Mr. Kieu Ngoc Vu, Permanent Vice Chairman of Thu Duc City People's Council, announced Resolution 11 dated March 14, 2024 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council on the establishment, merger, separation and renaming of neighborhoods and hamlets in Ho Chi Minh City.
In which, Thu Duc City arranged 199 neighborhoods into 644 neighborhoods, Hiep Binh Phuoc ward alone arranged 6 neighborhoods into 34 neighborhoods.

This resolution also clearly states that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee shall direct the consolidation and ensure the organization and operation of new neighborhoods and hamlets in accordance with the law; direct the People's Committees of districts, towns, and Thu Duc City to closely coordinate with Party committees, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in the area to synchronously consolidate organizations in the political system to ensure compliance with regulations; at the same time, residential groups and people's groups shall cease their operations when this resolution takes effect.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Thu Duc City People's Committee Hoang Tung acknowledged that after today, the new neighborhood model officially comes into operation, the Party cell committee, neighborhood chief, front work committee and neighborhood socio-political organizations will encounter some initial difficulties.
He hopes that, with prestige, experience, enthusiasm and dedication to the common cause, the ward cadres will soon overcome difficulties and obstacles, quickly bring the ward's activities into stability and efficiency, meet the people's expectations, and continue to contribute more to the development of Thu Duc City.

Mr. Tung requested the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Hiep Binh Phuoc ward and the neighborhoods to review, select and implement regulations related to the arrangement of neighborhood personnel and stabilize the neighborhood's activities after the announcement ceremony.
At the same time, focus on leading, operating, and guiding neighborhoods to promptly resolve difficulties and problems arising in the process of performing tasks.
Party cell committees, ward heads, front work committees and ward socio-political organizations quickly approached and grasped the work, organized serious and effective implementation of local political tasks, promoted grassroots democracy, and maintained the role of an effective bridge between Party committees, authorities and people.
