Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet works with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee

Reporting at the meeting, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thi Thuy Dung said that in the past time, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission has urgently and actively implemented Project No. 26-DA/TU, dated January 21, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Decision No. 1779-QD/TU, dated January 22, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee on the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Regulation No. 1788-QD/TU, dated January 24, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the regulations on functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure and working relationships of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.

The staff of the department highly agreed, supported, and strictly implemented the merger and streamlining of the organizational structure (from 8 departments to 6 departments) and the reduction of staff to serve the arrangement work (with 7 staff members registering for early retirement). The staff members were all assured in their work and proactively carried out political tasks from the beginning of the year.

Along with that, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission was established with 7 members. Comrade Huynh Thi Thuy Dung was appointed as Party Secretary, and Comrade Pham Hong Quang as Deputy Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department to continue to do a good job in ideological work, creating a close-knit, united working environment. Regarding the key tasks, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Department to do a better job in advising on concretizing documents from higher levels in the direction of linking them to the reality of Quang Nam. Strengthen inspection and supervision of political and ideological work in press agencies. At the same time, strengthen advice on the fields of ethnicity, religion and government mass mobilization work.

Regarding specific tasks in February, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department to urgently preside over advising on the action program to concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation; Plan to disseminate new documents of the Central Government. Preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to advise on the first provincial Golden Hammer and Sickle Award. Along with that, advise and direct the Provincial Literature and Arts Association Congress and tasks related to propaganda work to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam province and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee.
