ANTD.VN - Bao Viet - the first Vietnamese enterprise in the finance - insurance industry continues to be recognized in the Sustainable Enterprise Ranking in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices group. This is the result of a long period of preparation and efforts to improve the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) profile of S&P Global based on the new criteria and standards of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices.
Bao Viet continues to affirm its leading position as a Vietnamese enterprise for 3 consecutive years in the global sustainable development enterprise ranking in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices-DJSI group of S&P Global.
In December 2024, Bao Viet once again made its mark when it was recognized in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), through the results of the global corporate sustainability assessment (Corporate Sustainability Assessment - CSA) conducted by S&P Global. To be evaluated in the DJSI, Bao Viet needs to meet strict requirements on many factors such as: corporate financial health, stock value, transparency, sustainable business operations, etc. Being included in the international rankings has demonstrated the value and health of a leading enterprise like Bao Viet in general and the attractiveness of BVH shares in particular, thereby elevating the position of a leading enterprise operating in the finance - insurance sector in Vietnam.

In 2024, Bao Viet has improved 3 places in the assessment score compared to 2023 and scored higher than 67% of other businesses in the insurance industry (including 234 global businesses eligible to participate). Bao Viet's outstanding improvement efforts during the year include: Greenhouse gas emission reduction strategy, Risk management, Information technology security and safety management; Assessment of key business issues and employee care and customer care activities. These improvements have been highly appreciated by S&P Global experts and included in the database for consideration for potential sustainable investment portfolios.
