The Laos-Vietnam Combat Alliance Museum in Dong village, Sepon district, Savannakhet province, Southern Laos is a place to display hundreds of artifacts and pictures about the Route 9 - Southern Laos campaign; images of the Vietnam-Laos alliance transporting military supplies and weapons to serve the campaign as well as the close-knit sentiment of the people and armed forces of Laos and Vietnam.

The exhibition system of the Laos-Vietnam Combat Alliance Museum includes indoor and outdoor exhibitions. The outdoor exhibition was formed with the purpose of supplementing the indoor exhibition, creating a complete exhibition system for the museum, establishing a lively and attractive cultural space with valuable historical artifacts including artifacts and spoils of war captured from the enemy in the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism.

The indoor exhibition is presented with images, artifacts, documents... through 6 topics such as: History of the Route 9 - Southern Laos campaign; The uprising and struggle of the Lao people; Operational plan and organization of resistance forces of the Lao and Vietnamese people's armies; Route 9 - Southern Laos campaign; Victory results of the Lao and Vietnamese people's armies; Solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the Lao and Vietnamese peoples.

Hundreds of photos kept at the museum also aim to promote the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of the two countries in the struggle for national independence, the cause of national construction and development, especially the great achievements of historical significance, reflecting the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos over more than 35 years of renovation; contributing to consolidating and strengthening the great friendship and special solidarity in the current period. The exhibition introduces to the public of the two countries the value of archival documents, aiming to raise awareness and understanding of society about the role and value of archival documents in educating traditions and history in each country./.
