Phu Tho Newspaper won 2 awards at the "Press and propaganda award on energy saving and efficiency in 2024"

On December 17, the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Vietnam Journalists Association to organize an award ceremony for works participating in the "Press and propaganda award on energy saving and efficiency in 2024".

The Organizing Committee awarded B prizes to authors and groups of authors.

The “2024 Energy Efficiency Journalism Award” is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Vietnam Journalists Association, with the aim of promoting and implementing the National Program on Energy Efficiency for the period 2019-2030 approved by the Prime Minister. The award aims to raise awareness and responsibility of the community in energy efficiency; honor outstanding authors and works on energy efficiency at the central and local levels; and create a useful playground for journalists writing about energy topics; and improve the quantity and quality of works promoting energy efficiency in the mass media.

The Organizing Committee awarded Encouragement Prizes to authors and groups of authors.

The Organizing Committee of the Award said that it had received positive responses from central and local press agencies, and the works submitted to the award had achieved high levels in both quantity and quality compared to last year. The evaluation of the Judging Council showed that the overall quality of the works submitted to the award was relatively even, the content of the works was quite diverse, covering many topics in energy saving work.

Out of a total of 492 entries, the Final Jury selected 35 best entries to award prizes in the form of one special prize in the television newspaper category, four A prizes, seven B prizes, 13 C prizes and 10 Encouragement prizes for the print, electronic, radio and television categories. Phu Tho Newspaper was honored to receive one B prize and one Encouragement prize in the print newspaper category.
