Pioneer in propaganda and streamlining the apparatus

(CLO) At the working session with five key political press agencies, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, highly appreciated the pioneering role of press agencies in propaganda work and streamlining the apparatus.

On March 26, in Hanoi, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission chaired a working session with five key political press agencies to evaluate the results of the reorganization and streamlining of the apparatus of the five key press agencies according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee, as well as information and propaganda work and preparations for the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

According to the report of Comrade Tong Van Thanh, Director of the Press and Publishing Department, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, 5 key press agencies (Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Magazine, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam) have urgently, seriously and resolutely carried out the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus.

The agencies have also closely followed the Party and State's policies, guidelines and decisions, proactively developed plans and implemented information and propaganda work in a methodical, scientific and in-depth manner, creating a strong spread.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, shared that Nhan Dan Newspaper has reduced its affiliated units from 25 to 15 units, arranged work for more than 200 cadres, reporters, and employees of Nhan Dan Television, and accepted 51 cadres and reporters from the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper. The newspaper has also prepared a propaganda plan for major holidays very early.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that the whole country is carrying out a "revolution" to streamline the apparatus, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency. In this context, the main political press agencies of the Central Committee have clearly demonstrated their pioneering role in propaganda work, contributing to orienting the thoughts and actions and strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and people.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the spirit of frank and responsible exchange and acknowledged the opinions and contributions of the delegates. He emphasized that the key political press agencies have made great efforts to complete key tasks; increasingly demonstrating political mettle, pioneering spirit, professionalism and fighting spirit.

Regarding the country's major tasks, especially the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested that key press agencies clearly define their roles and tasks in order to have a diverse, rich, and effective propaganda plan, properly orienting public opinion and contributing to strengthening the political determination of the entire political system, consolidating people's trust in the Party's leadership in the new development stage.
