Recognizing the important role of youth in the development of the Industry and Trade sector, in recent times, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade has continued to implement many practical programs and activities to accompany and support youth in learning and developing skills.

These activities not only contribute to improving the quality of union members and youth but also create favorable conditions for union members and youth to develop comprehensively, contributing to the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.

Mr. Hoang Tran Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the Ministry's Youth Union continues to mobilize and create conditions for union members to participate in professional training courses, professional skills, and political theory. In particular, implementing the direction of the Government Youth Union, the Ministry's Youth Union has sent union officials to participate in the training course for Youth Union Secretaries for the 2022-2027 term to improve leadership and management capacity in union work.

Promote propaganda work, create conditions for union members to participate in foreign exchange activities; proactively advise unit leaders to send union members to participate in many conferences, seminars, and overseas business trips; thereby contributing to improving the international integration capacity of union members and young people.

In addition, encourage union members to actively participate in scientific research, contribute initiatives and innovative solutions in the field of Industry and Trade.

With the specialized nature of the Industry and Trade sector, the Ministry's Youth Union has coordinated to support young people in starting their own businesses through Youth Union activities. In volunteer activities, the Ministry's Youth Union has coordinated to organize consulting and support programs for businesses and business households to apply digital technology to promote trade and develop consumer markets...

In addition, union activities related to the political and professional tasks of the industry are also implemented, helping young people have the opportunity to approach practice and orient their work.

The Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade has organized forums, meetings and information exchanges for students from universities such as: Hanoi University of Industry, University of Economics and Technology, University of Electricity, National Economics University. These programs help students better understand job opportunities, career trends, thereby orienting their careers more clearly.

Connecting youth, creating a comprehensive training environment

In addition to professional activities, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade also focuses on cultural and sports activities to create a healthy playground, helping young people develop comprehensively. Exchange programs, sports festivals, and art performances not only strengthen the connection between union members but also create conditions for young union members to demonstrate their talents, build team spirit and arouse pride in the Union organization.

The Ministry's Youth Union coordinated with the Ministry's Trade Union to organize the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Men's Football Tournament - MOIT CUP 2024; the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Pickleball Tournament 2025 - MOIT Pickleball Championship 2025; coordinated to organize and mobilize union members to participate in the Earth Hour 2025 Run, the Government Youth Sports Festival 2025... The activities received the participation of a large number of union members and young people.

In order to link union activities with the political and professional tasks of the Industry and Trade sector, the Ministry's Youth Union has implemented many meaningful programs, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of young people for the development of the sector.

In 2024, the Ministry's Youth Union and its affiliated units organized and coordinated the implementation of 8 programs to accompany young people in studying, starting a business, starting a business and developing skills. In addition, the Ministry's Youth Union also organized 4 programs and activities related to the political and professional tasks of the Industry and Trade sector.

Some activities include: Visiting and learning information at the "Identifying genuine and fake Made in Japan" exhibition room; workshop "Identifying illegal multi-level marketing and prevention skills ".

These activities help union members and young people grasp the reality and understand the challenges of the Industry and Trade sector, thereby proactively proposing initiatives to improve the efficiency of management and development of the sector.

In the coming time, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to promote youth support programs, improve the effectiveness of union activities related to the expertise of the Industry and Trade sector, and expand cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations to create more development opportunities for union members and youth.
