In an article, TASS said Russia and Vietnam have further strengthened their comprehensive strategic partnership in the spirit of friendship and mutual support in the context of the current world situation.
TASS quoted a passage from the Vietnam-Russia Joint Statement saying that the relationship between the two countries aims to strengthen peace, stability and security in the Asia-Pacific region as well as around the world.
The two countries are working to further deepen economic and trade relations, as well as promote cooperation in other areas, such as energy, digital technology, science, education, culture, tourism, etc.
Vesti.ru news site said the visit will end with a friendly meeting with the leaders of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association and generations of former Vietnamese students who studied in the Russian Federation.
The meeting at the Opera House in Hanoi was attended by nearly 400 guests who have had many connections and love for the country, people and culture of Russia.
