British newspaper honors 50 most beautiful beaches in the world, Da Nang takes 2 positions

“Our experts have picked out 50 of the world’s favourite beaches. Some are popular destinations in Australia, Brazil and the Caribbean. Others are off the beaten track in Iceland, Mozambique and South Korea,” the Telegraph noted in an article published on August 4.

The list of “Top 50 best beaches” was divided into 10 categories by Telegraph experts with different criteria. Among them, Vietnam impressed when My Khe and Non Nuoc in Da Nang were ranked second in the category “Beaches with the best atmosphere”.

Sharing more about the appeal of My Khe and Non Nuoc, journalist Chris Leadbeater emphasized: “The perfect beach couple (My Khe and Non Nuoc) is surrounded by modern hotels and luxury resorts, very popular with tourists.”

Also nominated in the “Best Beaches with the Best Atmosphere” category are: Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Palm West in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Playa Coral Varadero, Cuba; Hamdeok on Jeju Island, South Korea; Playa de La Concha in San Sebastián, Spain.

Nihiwatu on Sumba in Indonesia tops the “Most Impressive Wildlife Beach” category. Topping the “Most Beautiful View” category is Gower’s Three Cliffs Bay in Wales.

Dhigurah Island in the Maldives topped the “Best Luxury Place to Stay” category. Waikiki Beach in Hawaii (USA) topped the “Best Activity Beach” category.
