BTO-On the afternoon of August 11, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Duc commune, Ham Tan district, together with the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Protection of Children's Rights of the province, handed over a charity house to the household of Ms. Hoang Thi Le Xuan, residing in village 2.
The house was built in the structure of a level 4 house, with an area of about 40 m2 , including 2 rooms, a corrugated iron roof, and tiled floors with a total cost of 100 million VND. Of which, Binh Thuan Lottery Company Limited supported 50 million VND, the rest was supported by relatives.
It is known that Ms. Hoang Thi Le Xuan is a poor household with housing difficulties in the locality, is elderly, and often sick. The mother and daughter live together in an old, dilapidated, unsafe house; the daily income comes from the child's hired work, so for many years they have not had the means to repair or rebuild the house. On this occasion, the Front, the commune's departments and agencies, and sponsors also gave the family many housewarming gifts.
Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune also handed over a charity house with an area of about 60 square meters with a total construction cost of more than 70 million VND, of which benefactors supported 50 million VND to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, a poor household with housing difficulties living in village 3, farming and raising a disabled child.
This activity has practical meaning, promoting the spirit of mutual love of the whole community joining hands to help the poor have a solid, sturdy home so that they can work with peace of mind and stabilize their lives.
