For the second consecutive year, Hum Garden vegetarian restaurant continues to be named in the Bib Gourmand category (delicious restaurant, affordable price). Michelin Guide describes Hum Garden: "Vietnamese-inspired vegetarian dishes, rich with modern variations, mainly using fresh organic ingredients taken directly from the farms. Hum's square spring rolls are simple but delicious...".
Hum pursues botanical cuisine style
Upon receiving the honor from Michelin Guide as well as the attention of the culinary community, Hum Garden representative said this is a joy for the Hum Dining team in general and the Hum Garden branch in particular.
"For over a decade, our dedicated team has been pioneering the way of plant-based cuisine in Vietnam and has been patiently taking care of meals that offer a complete experience in terms of color - aroma - taste, health value and spiritual care...", the restaurant said.
Interestingly, Man Moi restaurant, located next to Hum Garden, was also honored by Michelin for the first time in the Bib Gourmand category this year.
Chay Garden
The Michelin Guide's shortlist once again includes Chay Garden in the Bib Gourmand 2024 category, which the restaurant calls a "continuation of its green journey." The restaurant's representative expressed joy that the efforts and hard work of the restaurant team have been recognized.
The food at Chay Garden is highly rated by Michelin Guide.
"With nutritious, healthy vegetarian dishes made from fresh vegetables, tubers, and fruits, Chay Garden takes great care to prepare delicious dishes that still retain all the nutrients to support good health. Each dish is carefully prepared, presented carefully and skillfully so that diners can enjoy the sophistication of color - aroma - taste with each taste," the restaurant introduced.
Chay Garden is located at the end of a quiet alley in the heart of bustling Ho Chi Minh City and, according to the Michelin Guide, serves delicious, affordable Vietnamese dishes, such as braised eggplant with banana and tofu.
The colonial-style house has a shady, tree-lined courtyard, providing the perfect setting for a fine dining experience.
Taste of Home Kitchen
This is the first time this restaurant has been honored by Michelin Guide in the category of "good restaurant, affordable price". According to Michelin, Vi Que Kitchen is a modern Vietnamese vegan restaurant that combines flavors from all over the country with creative touches. The dishes have rich flavors along with a cozy space and music are a plus point of the restaurant.

The restaurant said the Michelin Guide's honor is a recognition of the tireless efforts of the entire Vi Que Kitchen team in preserving and promoting traditional Vietnamese culinary values.
"The Bib Gourmand award is a motivation for our entire team to continue to strive harder, bringing the best culinary experiences to our diners," the restaurant said.
Du Yen
Located in a quiet neighborhood in Thao Dien (Thu Duc City), Du Yen Vegetarian Restaurant has a rustic and luxurious space, according to Michelin Guide. The menu here is diverse, including Vietnamese dishes as well as Western and Thai dishes.
"The butterfly flower spring rolls are beautiful rice paper rolls decorated with edible flowers. The peanut dipping sauce has a sweet taste that goes well with the vegetables. The vegetarian version of Hue rice cakes is wrapped in banana leaves and served with fish sauce," the Michelin Guide describes.
Eye-catching dishes in Du Yen
Du Yen Restaurant said they were very happy to be named by Michelin Guide in the Michelin Selected category for the first time this year. Having been in operation for less than a year, the restaurant expressed that this was a great gift to motivate the restaurant to continue to strive to win the trust of diners.
