With many drastic solutions, Ba Che district has been focusing on preserving and promoting the traditional cultural identity of ethnic minorities.
Ba Che district has 7 relics, including 1 national relic, 3 provincial relics, 3 classified and inventoried relics (not yet classified). The district has planned and restored the following relics and scenic spots: Dong Chuc Communal House (Luong Mong Commune), Lang Da Communal House (Thanh Lam Commune), Ong Temple - Ba Temple historical relic (Nam Son Commune), Hai Ninh Province's anti-French colonial resistance base relic in Luong Mong and Minh Cam communes. Regarding intangible culture, the inventoried heritages include all types specified in Circular No. 04/2010/TT-BVHTTDL, including 7 types of intangible culture: Folk performing arts, social customs, folk literature, traditional festivals, traditional crafts, and language and writing.

Identifying culture as both a goal and a driving force for development, Ba Che district always considers the preservation and promotion of cultural values an important task to promote local socio-economic development. In recent times, the district has gradually mobilized resources to restore and embellish heritages to serve the spiritual and cultural needs of local people, such as: Ong Temple - Ba Temple historical relic cluster; Truc Lam Bao Quoc pagoda, Luong Mong commune's ethnic cultural house, Dao ethnic cultural house, Ban Vuong temple (Son Hai village, Nam Son commune)...
The work of preserving intangible cultural identity has many innovations, the district is maintaining many unique festivals of ethnic minorities. Currently, the district has restored traditional festivals such as: Ban Vuong Festival; Ong Temple - Ba Temple Festival; Long Tong Festival; Lang Da Communal House Festival; Dong Chuc Communal House Festival; San Chay Ethnic Cultural Festival and Tay Ethnic Cultural Festival; Golden Tea Festival... The successful organization of 3 Ban Vuong Festivals and the folk song and dance exchange program of the Dao ethnic community has become a major cultural event, attracting the participation of many Dao groups in the northern mountainous provinces, as well as many clans and villages with Dao people living concentrated in Ba Che district.
Along with the restoration work, in the past 5 years, Ba Che district has opened 12 classes to teach 320 participants about the following contents: Folk singing, folk dancing, embroidery of the Dao ethnic group; singing with the San Chay ethnic group and singing with the Tinh lute of the Tay ethnic group; silver carving, traditional wine making, Ka Dong mask dance, carving wooden and paper masks, pestle wrestling games... Established 3 clubs of singing with the San Chay ethnic group in Dap Thanh, Thanh Lam, Thanh Son communes; 2 clubs of singing with the Dao ethnic group, 1 club of singing with the Tinh lute and 2 clubs of embroidery of the Dao ethnic group, with 230 people participating in activities and practice.
In July 2024, Ba Che district held a launching ceremony to respond to the implementation of Resolution 17-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on building and promoting cultural values and human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource and driving force for rapid and sustainable development. Thereby demonstrating the determination of the entire district political system to unite to build Ba Che culture and people to truly become an endogenous resource, a resource and driving force for rapid and sustainable development, contributing to the overall development of the province.

Along with that, cultural and artistic exchange activities, closely associated with the national cultural identity; ethnic sports competitions are maintained regularly. In particular, some typical rituals of the Dao people such as: Fire dancing, turtle dancing, ancient folk songs, folk dances are gradually being restored, as well as the establishment of the Club for Preserving and Promoting the Cultural Identity of the Dao people in the area. The district Department of Education and Training has maintained the direction for students of the district's Boarding Ethnic High School to wear ethnic costumes at the flag-raising ceremony every Monday and display some traditional costumes at the school. In addition, wearing ethnic costumes is also carried out in extracurricular activities, major holidays, and celebrations; organizing ethnic costume performances, competitions in wrapping coóc mo cakes, gù cakes, pushing sticks, tug of war, throwing con; organizing highland markets that attract a large number of teachers and students to participate.
It can be seen that the cultural and spiritual life in Ba Che district is having many positive changes through activities to preserve tangible and intangible cultural values, traditional festivals and investment in cultural institutions from the district to the grassroots; linking the preservation of national culture with tourism development, promoting the image of Ba Che land and people.
