The above information was announced by Ms. Hoang Tri Mai, General Director of Airbus Vietnam, at the Vietnam - EU Trade Forum 2023 "Sustainable Development - Destination in the journey of creating future value chains" , organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the EU Business Association (EuroCham) on the afternoon of November 27 in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Ms. Mai, Airbus’s standards are high and it is difficult to find suppliers. However, Airbus is determined to expand its supply chain and has shifted some supply branches to Vietnam in recent years. Suppliers must ensure sustainable development and reduce carbon emissions.

"In addition, the aviation industry is also converting to green energy. Meanwhile, rural areas in Vietnam have a lot of biomass fuel, which is very favorable for this conversion trend," said Ms. Mai.
