Jeju Island (South Korea) has long been famous as a peaceful resort for tourists to temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of busy city life. Jeju owns beautiful beaches, fresh seafood, attractive trails and natural wonders recognized by the world.
Sunrise Peak (Seongsan Ilchulbong)
Sunrise Peak, or Seongsan Ilchulbong, is one of Jeju Island's most iconic landmarks. It is a volcanic crater formed 5,000 years ago and rises about 180 meters above sea level.

This tourist spot was recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage in 2007 and has appeared in many famous Korean movies. Visitors should wake up early and hike to the top of the mountain at dawn, as its name suggests, to fully enjoy the beauty of the sunrise peak.
Seopjikoji Hill
Seopjikoji is a hill located on the east side of Hallasan Mountain, on the east coast of Jeju. If you travel to Jeju Island in April, you should not miss this place. Because in spring, the scenery here becomes very poetic with fields of yellow canola flowers blooming.

Thanks to its geographical location south of Seongsan Ilchulbong, Seopjikoji Hill has a direct view of the famous crater. In addition, the white lighthouse on the top of the hill also attracts a large number of tourists because of its romantic scenery like in famous Korean TV dramas.
Jeongbang Falls
As one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Korea, Jeongbang attracts thousands of visitors every year. At a height of 23 m, the waterfall flows from small streams in the mountains into a large stream and then flows straight into the sea, creating beautiful white foam.

Coming to Jeongbang waterfall, visitors can find peace and comfort in their souls, while comfortably relaxing and immersing themselves in the wild space on the island.
Manjanggul Cave
Manjanggul Cave takes visitors to explore the mysterious and charming underground world under Seoul. More than 8,000 m long, up to 23 m wide and up to 30 m high in some places, this is one of the largest lava roads in Asia.

However, to ensure the safety of tourists, the local government is currently only exploiting and opening to explore a 1.6 km long path. Inside the cave, there are many rocks that reflect light, creating a romantic and attractive scene. Visitors can admire a 7.6 m high stone column when reaching the end of the trail.
Hallasan National Park
Hallasan is a volcano that has been dormant for over a thousand years and is part of the park system of the same name. The mountain is 1,950 m above sea level and is the highest mountain in Korea. Therefore, the people of Jeju Island also affectionately call this place "The Mountain That Touches the Galaxy".

The special thing about Hallasan is that besides the main crater with a diameter of more than 400 m, there are up to 368 "parasitic volcanoes" - also known as oreum - growing on the mountainside. In addition, this area is also famous for its rich ecosystem with more than 1,800 different species of plants and 4,000 species of animals.
Udo Island
Jeju Island has countless satellite islands scattered around. Among them, Udo Island is the largest and also attracts the most tourists. Udo Island is only 3.8 km long but has a variety of interesting attractions.

Visitors can admire the rock walls, visit natural attractions, scenic spots or observe a day in the life of a haenyo (female freediver). It is also a great place to go fishing, cycling and enjoy sand massages. Rhodolith Beach is a must-see when visiting Udo Island with its beautiful white sand and crystal clear waters.
Jeju Folk Village Museum
Visiting the Jeju Folk Village Museum, tourists can travel back in time to learn about the history of the formation and development of Jeju Island. This is one of the most popular attractions on the island.

The museum recreates the island as it was in the 1890s with over 100 old houses that were once home to the islanders. Visitors can also view the exhibits to better understand a part of Jeju Island’s history, culture and traditions.
