Nhat Tan Communal House worships Duc Thanh Uy Do Dai Vuong Tran Linh Lang (Uy Linh Lang), the son of Queen Minh Duc. Uy Linh Lang was famous for his intelligence, both literary and martial, and was known far and wide.

To commemorate the merits of Uy Linh Lang, the people of Nhat Tan village often hold a ceremony on the 10th day of the 2nd lunar month every year. The traditional festival of Nhat Tan communal house is a profound cultural beauty associated with Vietnamese folk culture.
