On March 9 (February 10 of the lunar calendar), the People's Committee of Ninh Giang district coordinated with Ninh Giang town, Hai Duong province to solemnly open the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival of Tranh Temple Spring At Ty 2025.

Vice Chairman of Ninh Giang District People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Van said that Tranh Temple worshiping the great Saint Tuan Tranh in Tranh Xuyen residential area, Ninh Giang town, Hai Duong province has a long history and was ranked as a national historical and cultural relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2009. Tranh Temple Traditional Festival was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2022. On December 21, 2023, Hai Duong province recognized Tranh Temple National Architectural and Artistic Relic as a tourist destination. This is the pride of the cadres and people of Ninh Giang district. The Tranh Temple Traditional Festival in 2025 is held with the desire to protect, promote and enrich the cultural heritage values of the nation.

Tranh Temple worships Quan Lon Tuan Tranh - a high-ranking official in the Four Palaces system of the Mother Goddess religion. At Tranh Temple, there are two main festivals held in the 2nd and 8th lunar months. In addition, there is also the Quan Banh Day on the 25th of the 5th lunar month. The important festival in February is said to commemorate the birthday of Duc Thanh. The festival in August commemorates the death of Duc Thanh Tran Hung Dao. The events and festivals of Tranh Temple demonstrate the aspirations and cultural creativity of the local community.
The work of preserving cultural heritages at Tranh Temple and the intangible cultural heritage of Tranh Temple Festival revives the cultural and artistic values of the countryside with a long history, contributing to preserving, promoting and enriching the national cultural identity.

For many years, the Spring Festival has been organized by the locality on a large scale, attracting many tourists to attend, offer incense, visit and worship. Besides the special rituals such as: Water procession, Quan worship, Mau worship, Moc Duc ceremony, Tranh Temple Festival also features many folk games such as: Chinese chess, smashing clay pots, blindfolded goat catching, traditional wrestling, catching loach in a jar, crossing the bridge, clay firecrackers, pushing sticks, volleyball...
This year’s festival takes place from March 7-9. During the festival, the Organizing Committee will also display booths introducing and selling OCOP products, typical craft village products of communes and towns in Ninh Giang district and some other localities in Hai Duong province.
