While in Hanoi there are many bun cha restaurants awarded the Bib Gourmand 2024 by Michelin, in Ho Chi Minh City there is only one bun cha restaurant on this list.
Bun Cha Chan As soon as it appeared on the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand award list in 2024, this noodle shop confused many diners because it had no specific name and was difficult to find the exact address. This is a famous bun cha shop located on Mai Hac De Street. This is considered one of the first shops in Hanoi to sell bun cha chan. Michelin gave many compliments: "This bun cha shop has been serving customers for more than 10 years. In addition to the typical bun dish with grilled meatballs, you can order grilled pork belly or grilled pork rolls with betel leaves to go with the bun and sweet fish sauce. Fried spring rolls are crispy with rich fillings". Bun cha here costs 45,000 - 60,000 VND/serving. The shop only sells until about 1 pm when it runs out. Diners should come early to enjoy the original bun cha chan dish.

Bun Cha Ta Bun Cha Ta restaurant on Nguyen Huu Huan street is also an ideal place for diners who love bun cha. The bun cha here is famous for its soft, smoky grilled meat and rich spices. Seafood spring rolls and crab spring rolls are popular with foreign tourists because of their unique flavors. In addition, the restaurant also serves bun with fried bean curd in tomato sauce and fried spring rolls for vegetarians. A portion of bun here costs 60,000 - 95,000 VND, the most expensive is 110,000 VND including bun, spring rolls and 2 seafood spring rolls.

Tuyet Bun Cha 34 Tuyet Bun Cha is located on Hang Than Street, Ba Dinh District. The special thing about the restaurant is that the pork and pork are often grilled until the edges are charred, with a smoky smell. The pork is large, and the pork is also sliced thickly and served very generously. The dipping sauce at Tuyet Bun Cha makes diners fascinated because it is rich, delicious, with lots of minced garlic and kohlrabi to go with it. The restaurant's menu has only one dish of Bun Cha, priced at 50,000 VND/serving. If you want, diners can order fried spring rolls to go with it for 12,000 VND/piece.

Bun Bo Hue 14B This is the only noodle shop awarded the Bib Gourmand award in Ho Chi Minh City, according to the Michelin list. The shop has a rather small space, there is no place for customers to sit and eat, so most of the time it only sells take-out. According to the description of the Michelin appraiser: "This take-out stall specializes in serving beef noodle soup with sliced beef and beef tendon. The broth is made from onions, beef bones and delicious pork bones". The special thing that makes this place catch Michelin's eye is the richly seasoned broth and fresh ingredients, imported every day. A serving of beef noodle soup here costs from 30,000 - 65,000 VND, depending on the toppings that the diners request.
