The culinary website Taste Atlas has announced the 36 best sticky rice dishes in the world. Notably, Vietnam has 4 dishes on this list including three-color sweet soup, lam sweet soup, taro sweet soup and sticky rice chicken.
Ranked at number 4, three-color sweet soup is one of the ideal desserts for those with a sweet tooth. This sweet soup combines many ingredients such as sticky rice, red beans, green beans, jelly, coconut milk... creating a diverse flavor, both rich and refreshing. Regardless of the ingredients, the sweet soup is almost always topped with coconut milk and crushed peanuts.
Three-color sweet soup is usually eaten cold with shaved ice, helping to dispel the heat, especially suitable for the hot summer weather of Vietnam.

Taro dessert is ranked 13th. The dessert consists of only basic ingredients such as diced taro, glutinous rice, pandan juice and sugar. The diced taro is steamed until soft, then mixed with cooked glutinous rice, adding a few drops of pandan leaves and sugar.
Ranked 23rd, che lam is a snack made from glutinous rice flour, peanuts, ginger and molasses or sugar.

The image of a chicken in a golden sticky rice layer also symbolizes fullness and luck. Therefore, sticky rice chicken often appears in parties, ceremonies or family reunions.
