Ms. Tran Kim Yen presented support to the leaders of Tay Ninh Border Guard.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Tran Kim Yen assessed that the Border Guard force has done a very good job in the mass mobilization work of the armed forces. Through the program, it has contributed to building a successor team with the local government. "Although living and working conditions are still difficult, the comrades have carried out many important tasks," Ms. Tran Kim Yen emphasized.

The Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee suggested that the City's Women's and Youth Programs should connect with the activities of the Fund "For the Homeland's Sea and Islands - For the Frontline of the Fatherland" so that the programs can be improved in quality, and the children will be able to fully enjoy the meaning that the programs bring.

Ms. Tran Kim Yen and members of the delegation visited and gave gifts to students in difficult circumstances at the program.

Colonel Nguyen Dinh Manh, Deputy Commander of Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard, said that the force has implemented the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of Border Guard Station" since 2016, with 76 children receiving support. Every month, children participating in the program are supported with at least 500,000 VND until they are in grade 12. Seven adopted children are raised directly at the border guard station, ensuring all living and studying conditions. The program has been implemented with a budget of more than 3.5 billion VND from contributions from officers and soldiers and support from benefactors. Currently, 1 child has graduated from university and is working in Ben Cau district. There are 22 children who are excellent students and 34 who are good students.

Also at the meeting, city leaders presented meaningful gifts to the Provincial Border Guard Command and students.
