This afternoon (January 27), Thu Dau Mot City Police are coordinating with the Traffic Police Department of Binh Duong Province to examine the scene and investigate the cause of the traffic accident that left two people dead.

According to initial information, at around 2:00 p.m. the same day, a man was riding a motorbike carrying a woman on National Highway 13 in the direction from Binh Phuoc to Binh Duong.

When arriving at So Sao intersection (intersection of National Highway 13 with Le Chi Dan Street, Hiep An Ward, Thu Dau Mot City), there was a collision with a tractor-trailer with Tay Ninh license plate moving on Le Chi Dan Street across the intersection.

After the collision, two motorcyclists were hit by the tractor-trailer and dragged dozens of meters on the road, leading to death.

At the scene, the victim's motorbike was caught under the tractor, and the two bodies were no longer intact.

As of 5 p.m. the same day, the authorities were still conducting an investigation. The tractor-trailer driver was also detained for investigation.

It is known that the area where the accident occurred is a black spot for traffic accidents in Binh Duong. In just the past month, there have been 3 traffic accidents that have killed 4 people.
