Tonight, August 5, in Ho Xa town, Vinh Linh district, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Vinh Linh district to organize the closing ceremony of the 2024 Quang Tri Provincial Volleyball Championship.

The tournament took place from August 1 to 5, 2024 at the Vinh Linh District Sports and Physical Training Center, gathering more than 120 male and female athletes from 11 teams, including 6 men's volleyball teams from Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, Dakrong, Huong Hoa districts, Quang Tri town and Dong Ha city; 5 women's volleyball teams from Gio Linh, Trieu Phong, Vinh Linh, Huong Hoa districts and the Provincial Police.

After 5 days of exciting and exciting competition, the 2024 Quang Tri Provincial Volleyball Championship officially ended with many successes. This year's tournament is highly appreciated in terms of expertise when the teams have invested and prepared quite well in terms of personnel, which are good athletes, including a number of athletes who are competing professionally for many strong volleyball clubs nationwide.
The teams organized for the athletes to practice systematically and strictly follow the rules and regulations of the tournament. During the competition, the athletes competed with all their might in the spirit of solidarity, honesty, nobility and progress; contributing good plays, creating exciting and attractive matches, serving the masses.
The referees who ran the tournament were fair, objective, accurate and in accordance with the law. Security, order, health care... were ensured. In particular, the tournament had a large number of spectators, who cheered wholeheartedly to give the athletes more motivation to compete, contributing to the success of the tournament in many aspects.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the Championship Cup, Gold Medal to Vinh Linh District Team, Silver Medal to Dong Ha City Team, Bronze Medal to Gio Linh District Team in Men's Volleyball; awarded the Championship Cup, Gold Medal to Vinh Linh District Team, Silver Medal to Gio Linh District Team, Bronze Medal to Trieu Phong District Team in Women's Volleyball; awarded individual prizes to the best male and female attackers of the tournament, the best male and female defenders of the tournament, the best male and female setters of the tournament.
